Mt. Washington Village in conjunction with
the Lake Falls Adult Medicine Specialists will host the 4th Annual
Flower and Garden Show on Saturday, April 25th, 2009 from 10AM
until 4PM. Admission to the show is free and will be held in the
parking lot of the Baltimore Clayworks, located at 5700 Smith
Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21209.
Visitors will have the opportunity to spend the day in charming
Mt. Washington Village and shop among numerous vendors for various
lawn and gardening accessories, from decorative plants, herbal
bonsai, flowers, hanging baskets and organic products, to pottery,
sun catchers, birdhouses, purses, and lawn chairs.
Throughout the day, the Greater Baltimore Master Gardeners will
offer gardening clinics to answer questions, as well as provide
visitors with seed packets and offer fun gardening activities
for children. . Locust Point Greenhouse will be selling a variety
of potted annuals and hanging baskets. Charles Racine will have
hostas and perennials for sale and Butterfly Oasis will have plenty
of plants and shrubs. Other vendors include Shamrock Hill with
vegetable plants, Beautiful hanging baskets of flowering annuals
from Leesburg Gardens and Spring Thyme Nursery with herbs and
lots of annuals plus others.
Crafters include Mama's Apron Strings, Ben Strombler with crafts
of Thailand, nevereverboutique.com with floral hair and shoe accessories,
Bugs of Baltimore with beautiful wire bugs and numerous others

Beazer Homes - 9th Annual
Wine, Art & Jazz Festival
Sunday September 20th - 11am - 6pm
Newbury Street & Sulgrave Avenue
The festival will provide wine samples from Basignani Winery,
Woodhall Vineyards, The Old Vine and microbrews from Clipper City
Brewing Co. Cheeses from all over the world will also be featured
courtesy of The Great Cheese and Whole Foods as well as delicious
breads from Bonjour Bakery. Entertainment will be provided by
jazz artists, Coldspring Jazz Quartet, Rumba Club and Greg Hatza.
In addition, a children's area will feature games, face painting,
balloons and the Oriole Bird. There will also be antique cars,
a Gumbo eating contest and much more.
"Mount Washington Village Wine, Art and Jazz Festival is a great
opportunity for everyone to spend some time together and have
a lot of fun in our neighborhood," commented Blake Wollman, president
of the Mt. Washington Village Association and owner of Desert
Café.
